This blade front sight has a pointed oval base with concave inner surface. File the extra high blade to the perfect sight picture. Solder it to your round barrel, typically 1-1/2" to 2-1/2" or more behind the muzzle. Sight blade is .080" wide and stands .345" above the plane of the barrel. Base is 0.86" long by 0.41" wide. Cast brass.
