Our special hardening process makes it spark well, throwing showers of hot sparks, when you present the sharp edge of our flint chard at the perfect angle.
#Tinder-Tube: Tinder tubes have been used for centuries as a fire starting tool. To use, simply ignite the charred end of the cotton cord with flint and steel striker, then use as you would char cloth to start a fire or light a pipe. To extinguish, simply pull the cord back into the tube.
#Tobac-Box-B: A nicely made replica of a popular trade item modeled after an original sold by the famous Hudson's Bay Company during the fur trade era. A burning glass lens is fitted to the air tight cover. This box is a great place to keep your tinder, char-cloth, and tinder-cord dry, until time for a fire making contest. Dampness is a common problem at the Rendezvous.
