This right hand flint lock will replace the small Spanish Maslin flint lock, and similar locks by Russ Hamm, CVA, Traditions, Cochran and Armsport. The rear of the lockplate has a pre-indicated marking for trimming to the round tail versions of these locks.
This lock has thicker stronger internal springs and parts than the Connecticut Valley Arms lock. It requires deepening the lock mortise slightly, a few minutes of hand work. Complete illustrated instructions are included.
Overall length 4-9/16" long x 7/8" wide, right hand only. Includes instruction booklet. We recommend our 5/8" wide hand knapped flints, #FLINT-ENG-5.
